We stayed at Pedernales Falls State Park in early November 2021. It is in the Texas hill country just west of Austin. The campsites are beautiful. I hiked the trail just off the campground look to twin falls, pretty woods but not worth the hike and the beginning of the long hike that was also off the campground loop. That was well worth the hike and I wish I could have gone further. I was going to iek to the falls but my bike was out of battery and the roads are hilly. So we didn't see the falls the park was named after, guess we have to go back. No problem though, I really enjoyed this park and am looking forward to the time I can return.
