Homestead Heritage Village is a Christian based community just outside of Waco, TX. There is a big 2 story store that sells the crafts and artwork the members produce. They also have classes on how to spin, weave, make pottery, make baskets, do woodworking and lots of other classes. The classes are reasonably priced. I would like to go back to take a weaving class. There is a rv camping area, carriage rides, and an excellent restaurant. I really want to eat there again. I bought yarn to knit a hat for myself for next winter and mom bought pecan tea. There is also a quilt shop, general store, and grocery store nearby.
