Lake Havasu State Park is in southwestern Arizona near the California border. In fact, California is the other side of the lake. It is a long narrow state park right in the middle of town. They made a state park to keep the lake accessible to people. It is mostly a boating park, with just a trail along the lake that had head high vegetation on both sides. The beaches were beautiful and they had a really nice cactus garden that made up for the lack of other trails. This is a great place if you want to have a warm sunny winter on a lake. We got to see the Londen Bridge while here which was interesting, but I won't go out of my way to go back.
