Lake Houston Wilderness Park, TX

Lake Houston Wilderness Park is right off Interstate 59 barely north of Houston, near Busch International Airport. I stopped in to explore it on my way back from the airport after dropping someone off. It would be a good spot to take a walk before taking a plane. There is no RV camping, but there is tent camping. It is mostly a day use city operated park. The river or creek that runs through it is beautiful and it is beautifully wooded. There are cabins to stay in and a group camping area. I enjoyed the trail I walked and need to make a point to walk a few more trails there.
